CHIEF MINISTER'S DISTRESS RELIEF FUND
Assistance will be awarded; to the poor for the treatment of chronic diseases; immediate financial assistance to the families of those who have met with accidental death; immediate relief to recover from losses of house; relief to damages caused to small scale trading institutions due to fire, lightning, natural calamities etc.. which are not covered by insurance; to provide free ration to the victims of natural calamities and other problems

ELIGIBILITY FOR ASSISTANCE
Annual family income must be less than Rupees One Lakh (G.O (MS) 144/12/Rev.Dated 11-04-2012 )
This Financial Assistance can be availed only once by a person. But Considering special situations, persons suffering from chronic diseases (cancer, kidney and cardiac related diseases) can apply for the same financial assistance again after a period of two years.
In the Case of accidental death, the dependants must submit application within one year
